COLDPLAY frontman CHRIS MARTIN stormed out of a radio interview in a rage this week (ends13Jun08), accusing the show presenter of manipulating his words.
The singer and bandmate Will Champion made a guest appearance on BBC Radio 4's arts show Front Row on Thursday (12Jun08), when became uncomfortable with host John Wilson's line of questioning.
When asked by Wilson whether the group's new album, titled Viva La Vida, was a reflection of Martin's lyrical obsession with death, the 31-year-old was said to appear visibly displeased.
He responded, "I wouldn't agree with you there at all, no. I'd say you're journalistically twisting me into saying something I don't really mean."
A few minutes later, the rocker said he was "not really enjoying this" and that he did not really like "having to talk about things", before walking out of the studio.
Drummer Champion was left to field questions on his own until Martin returned to answer one final question, mumbling: "Um....yes...yes, yes....exactly..."
